Lee's TOP 10 Zombie Games Of All Times

Afbeelding
As a gamer I always liked a good zombie game, I don't want to think about the amount of time I spent kicking in imaginatory undead skulls. I loved the suspense it brought to come face to face with the undead and narrowly escaping with my virtual life. There are tons of games out there that didn't make the list and I don't want to supress the quality of them that didn't make the cut, allthough I focused on my all time favourites and I had a preference for "open world" survival ones. Some of the games listed beneath aren't "open world" per se, but the great story line made up for it. Have fun reading! 10: Dead Rising The first in the Dead Rising series and in my opinion the best. It was groundbreaking when it came out and the plethora of weapons and customization of the main character made this game make the list. The only thing that made me not rate Dead Rising higher is the time limit that made you kinda not want to go explore and rush through th...

I am back!

Hello there my zombie-loving people, 10 years! I can’t believe it… I completely forgot about this blog. I was just messing about on my computer when I saw an old draft for a story I once made for this blog and all the memories came flashing back and I found it again! It was fun to read how passionate I was in this little project, but I remembered that I got offered a side gig in writing videogame news articles and kinda left this blog to die out. Now I got bitten again (pun intended) and I wish to take up this fun little project again and maybe make people enjoy some zombie fun!  A little bit about what I’ve been up to: Instead of a young careless twenty year old boy I turned into a thirty year old (my god) man with a family. I have a nice job in law enforcement, enjoy everything martial arts and still love a good zombie-flick!  I will update this blog regularly with some articles and stories and I sincerely hope you guys and girls will enjoy it!  Glad to be back! -...

"A whole new level" by Lee Stormy

Fear. That was what kept John alive this past three years, constant fear for what lied ahead. Another thing that kept John moving was a strong will, the will to survive and find some other survivors. He had lost so much, you couldn't imagine. Once he had a good job, beautiful wife and dozens of friends. John lost his wife Lynn two weeks ago to one of them. "Them" were vile creatures who roamed the world outnumbering the human population 1.000.000 to 1, they attacked, killed and ate the living, Once they were human, once... If you were lucky to survive an attack and get away but were bitten you would spend your last hours in agonizing pain until you eventually died and joined their ranks. Lynn was all John could think of for the past two weeks. Her pretty, long, dark-blonde hair, her gorgeous adoring eyes and her beautiful, warm smile. She was a tall woman and he always admired her strength during all of this. Since her death John was a misserable wreck, his once so eag...

"The night shift pt II" by Lee Stormy

They drove through a burning city with the cassualties fastly increasing, but these dead didn't stay dead. Nobody knew where it came from. Conspiracy-theories about bio-terrorist attacks were heard on the radio. Tom, a young ex-security guard and his wife Sara just barely escaped an undead siege at a local seven-eleven, they looted the neccesities as food, water and some weaponry in the form of a pair of handaxes. They were silently taking in the view of undead roaming the streets for fresh meat and occasionaly the lone infected who attacked the dead, they attacked everything but because the dead were already dead, seemed stronger than the living and felt no pain it usually ended in the favor of the dead, adding the infected to their undead-ranks. It had been two days since the outbreak and Tom and Sara were still on the run, the only times they stopped was for gas and to see if there were friends and family alive, they were not. "One last adress to check" Tom mumbled. ...

"The night shift" by Lee Stormy

"The night shift" by Lee Stormy   Tom, a 21-year old security-guard, was driving to one of his jobs in the evening when he heard a strange news-report on the radio. It made him curse because it interrupted one of his favourite songs. “Cannibal arrested, kept biting officers, rabies, killings..."   All of this made no lasting impression on him, he just wanted AC/DC's highway to hell back on. He drove on to the site he was assigned to guard that night, he walked in his office where his colleague was busy listening to the radio, "hi there mate, what's new?" Tom's co-worker signalled him to be quiet. " New reports, more attacks, dead, shoot to kill issued!"    "Wow that sounds crazy, in what third world country has the shit hit the fan this time?" "No, mate, this is in France!" "You're shitting me, what is wrong with those people, is it some kind of virus or drug?" "I don't know, hell, they...

Lee on weapons

Hi y'all, I told you I was going to do my research about firearms and get back to you. So, here it goes. Number one choice of weapon during the apocalypse should be a rifle. Any kind of hunting rifle should be ok. It's good for picking off enemies from a distance, the only con is that most of them are heavy which gets in the way for quick getaways, also it's not that manouvreble in tight spots. When you're in a tight spot, like I said before, you should go for the handgun, a 9mm pistol should do. When you like it big or are the kind of guy/gal that sticks to bigger is better standards you can go for the .45 magnum, this gun puts a hole in almost everything. The 9mm has a bigger capacity and accuracy because of the drawback, so that would be my pick. Than again the revolver is easier in upkeep as the pistol is more advanced in " technology ". The rifle and the handgun should be in every survivors possesion, an other good idea should be the shotgun. The 1...

Reaction from reader

Hi y'all, Yesterday I received a mail from a reader, he asked me about weapons, I told him I didn't consider making a firearms-post because of the strict anti-gun laws here in Europe, what basically means we're fucked when the shit hits the fan, but I'm going to do my research for the countries with gun shops and post it later. Greetings, Lee
