Lee on vehicles

Hi y'all, Let me talk to you about means of transportation! I'm going to list some vehicles and discuss the pro's and con's. Let's go! SUV or 4x4: Pro: good, sturdy mode of transportation, can go offroad. Con: loud, consumes lots of gas which will be scarce at one point, not that easy to get around obstacles since most SUV's are big. Sedan: Which will probably be my mode of transport at first since I own a 2006 Seat Cordoba... Pro: Fast, easy to handle, medium gasconsumption, smaller than a 4x4 so easier to manouvre. Con: uses gas, still makes noise, not that sturdy, most highways will be blocked by abbandoned cars. Motorbike: Pro: Small, easy to manouvre, consumes way less gas than a sedan and SUV, light. Con: only room for 1 to 2 survivors and limited storage space, easy to be knocked of, makes lots of noise, only good on even terrain, requires skill, if you run a flat tire there is no spare. Bicycle: Pro: uses no gas, easy to manouvre and picke...

Lee on safehouses

Hi you guys, How are you today? I'm fine by the way. I recently noticed something about safehouses in zombiemovies, mostly shoppingcenters are the setting in a lot of them! That got me thinking if this really was the best place to be at? Okay, you've got lots of food and equipment at your disposal but what are you gonna do with it if you can get your hands on it, which might be a big no no if the place is overrun as zombies tend to go back to the place they know. But lets say you can get supplies, are you going to put them to use? Note that in most zombie related movies the safehouses are located in a highly populated city, because let's face it: a zombiemovie in the middle of nowhere with no corpse to be seen would be a dull one... This does bring me to a usefull tip or pointer as you will, if you do happen to have the chance to get out of the city and get to a more higher, less populated location DO NOT HESITATE! Zombies are shamblers and they are less likely to climb....

The top 10 zombie movies according to Askmen

The top 10 zombie movies you must see There are already hundreds of zombies to choose from out there, and the success of flicks like 2004's Shaun of the Dead ensures that there will be plenty more coming. Given that they all have similar titles and near-identical plots (zombies rise from dead, humans must put them back), how does a guy separate the wheat from the chaff and pick a rental for the night? Well, here's a list of the Top 10 zombie movies of all time to get you started. To be considered as a candidate for the list, a movie had to meet two criteria:  1-  First, it had to fit the definition of a zombie movie. The simple presence of a couple of zombies wasn't enough; the film had to be structured around a central conflict that pitted the living against the living dead. 2-  Secondly, the movie had to be, well, a good movie. And not good in any artistic sense -- we're talking pure entertainment value. So underlying themes and social commentary weren'...

Lee's guidelines for surviving the undead apocalypse

Hi there, Here are the guidelines I have created for myself in case the unthinkable happens: * Prioritize Put basic needs like food and water at the top of your list, at first there will be plenty but eventually food and drinkable clean water will be hard to come by.  An other scenario you have to consider is when you have to make the choice between two or more people to rescue or allow in your group, again you have to prioritize and choose the ones who can contribute most to your group of survivors. * Always have a weapon I'm thinking about this a lot because where I live ( Belgium ) it is forbidden to carry a firearm, the lack of guns in this country could cause a problem when the sh*t hits the fan, obviously you have the short ranged weapons like crowbars, types of swords, hatchets, etc.. There will however be a time when that just ain't gonna cut it and you have to pick of an enemy from afar. When you have a gun, know that it makes noise and that it can make a bad sit...

Introduction

Hello there zombie enthusiasts all over the world, One day I was browsing the internet for some great zombie fiction, as I am a huge fan of this.  I saw a lot of interesting sites, one of my favourites being  " http://www.talesofworldwarz.com ".  After numerous nights of thinking I finally made the decision to start my own blog as an homage to the zombie-genre. For those who would like to see their work published on my blog I have only one thing to say: " mail, mail, mail ", I will do my best to read and publish it as fast as I can. If you have any tips or guidance towards my writing please enlighten me about it. With kind regards, Lee Stormy
