Lee on safehouses

Hi you guys,

How are you today? I'm fine by the way.

I recently noticed something about safehouses in zombiemovies, mostly shoppingcenters are the setting in a lot of them! That got me thinking if this really was the best place to be at?
Okay, you've got lots of food and equipment at your disposal but what are you gonna do with it if you can get your hands on it, which might be a big no no if the place is overrun as zombies tend to go back to the place they know. But lets say you can get supplies, are you going to put them to use? Note that in most zombie related movies the safehouses are located in a highly populated city, because let's face it: a zombiemovie in the middle of nowhere with no corpse to be seen would be a dull one... This does bring me to a usefull tip or pointer as you will, if you do happen to have the chance to get out of the city and get to a more higher, less populated location DO NOT HESITATE! Zombies are shamblers and they are less likely to climb. If you are amongst the less fortunate that couldn't get away in time you should barricade your windows, bring all the food upstairs, break down the stairs and wait... that might look like a dumb move but I think that if you have enough food and water to last you some time it might be okay. Maybe the situation will be under control, most likely not. If the second would be the case and you run out of food, you need to go and scavenge. Remember though: " no place is safe, only safer" and like I said: " be prepared to leave everything behind". If you find an other safehouse that is better than yours take it! 5 places to be avoided are:

5: Hospitals:
Where are they going to bring all the infected when the epidemic starts?

4: Shoppingmalls:
Lotso' zombies but lotso' food! Your pick

3: public libraries:
Way to many windows and almost 0 recources.

2: Houses with lots of windows: kind of obvious why you shouldn't go there.

1: Police station: I know what you're thinking: "let's go there, they will have weapons"! Right but if they're not gone allready there will bound to be some shamblers there that the police mistook as drunk/drugged crazies and infected the whole department.
